overall personality, Luna is an open-minded, serene, unique girl with many beliefs and traits that others consider strange, which earned her the nickname of "Loony Lovegood". However, she's intelligent, having been sorted into Ravenclaw. Luna had a habit of stating the blunt truth about things, and she also unusually perceptive.

She also appears to be very calm, even under difficult circumstances and she's great at comforting someone when they're down. However, she is a very distant nd dreamy sort of girl, and she has a tendency to drift off from conversations she does't find interesting. Still, she is often th subject of ridicule because of many of these aspects, but she takes it all in stride, trying her very best not to let it get to her.

overall history, Luna lovegood, (born 1981)was a witch and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lovegood. Duringher younger years as a child, her mother accidentally died while experimenting with spells. So, she was raised by her father, who was editor of the magazine The uibbler. She lived in a rook-like house around Ottery St. Catchpole.

At age 11, Luna began attending Hogwarts Schol of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1992 until 1999. She was sorted into Ravenclaw, as she was extreely intelligent and witty.Things really didn't happen that was of very much importance up until her fourth year. This is when she joined Dumbledore's Army, thus, meeting her first real friends. She also attended the Yule Ball with Neville Longbottom.

Luna walked down the hallway with her usual style. Somewhat of a dip in her steps, her eyes off in the distance, her hands loose and swinging freely at her sides, her lips in a tight, soft smile, and her mind in the clouds. this was how it always was for her. Well anyway, she had much better things to do other than concentrate on a silly walk. Or wherever she was going, for that matter. She pondered at the thought if anyone actually thought about how they were walking. now, that was something to think about. Whether or not other people thought about how they walked.

"But wait, if I were to think about if others think about walking, wouldn't I be thinking of how I walk as well?" She asked herself, stopping in the hallway to look down at her feet. She would have to confront some books about that. She was nearly positive some sort of book had an answer. Books, or her father, always had an answer. That's what she loved about books and her father-they always gave her answers.

She smiled, thinking about the questions she used to ask her father as a young girl, questions about why skies were blue, and why stars seemed so small when they were really so big, even why the moon had to be white and not some other color, like purple or red.

She thought about the moon question and nodded. "I think I will ask him again, I seem to have forgotten the answer." She said under her breath, her eyes glazing over once more. She began to walk again, her hair bouncing slightly. She began to bob her head side to side, enjoying the gentle sway of her hair.

She thought about how it would be like to be a mermaid. Her hair would sway so much easier if it were in water all the time. Of course, she was thinking about the beautiful mermaids she read about in books. Normally those mermaids were gorgeous and princesses. "I wonder what it would be like to be a mermaid princess for a day." she mumbled, pushing up her sleeves and opening the door to continue her journey to really, just wherever her mind decided to take her.

I would like to see more detail into her personality. Yes, the minimum was two paragraphs but you gave two rather skimpy ones. And Luna has such a quirky, fun personality!

I would also like to see the required 3-4 good, well written paragraphs for her history. I'm sure if you were to write your history down, at 15 years old, you could come up with more than 9 sentences. She's sixteen, has done some extraordinary things with her father's Quibbler and Harry Potter. Give her some credit, yo!
