general appearance Rabastan is a brooding character. He has this look on his face that he is out to kill everyone and everything that gets in his way. He is not one to mess with when looking at his overall appearance. He’s very tall, he’s lean, and his eyes are so blank that no one has any idea what he is thinking. He tends to enjoy wearing a lot of black articles of clothing. If one were to open up his wardrobe at his house, there would be a couple pairs of jeans, and everything else would be black. Occasionally in his better moods he tends to put on a gray shirt instead of a black one, but that is a very extremely scarce occasion. He will wear anything as long as it’s black and the occasional dark maroon or deep purple. That part he is not to picky about.

overall personality, Rabastan is a man of very few words, he doesn’t like to talk much. He keeps to himself for the most part, except for those that know him very well. If wizards are not pureblooded he won’t even acknowledge their existence. If they have been in Slytherin then he may talk to them every so often. It takes a lot to get him really going, and getting him angry is a very bad idea. Rabastan’s temper is on a very short stick, he doesn’t deal with bull shit. So, he’s quiet, but his anger has a short limit.

For the most part though he can be laid back. He doesn’t care much unless shit gets started with him or his brother. There he is the most protective and this is especially with women. He will not tolerate any woman being beaten, abuse to a woman is something that very easily sets him off. That includes laying a hand on a woman as well as emotionally tarring her. He feels that woman, pureblooded woman, should be treated with the utmost respect. Rabastan is very respectful as long as it is given back to him. He’s protective of his family, except for his father, and his friends.

Since he is so laid back and kept to himself he is extremely observant. To the point that it is scary what he finds out about people, and what he notices about people as well. He likes to be observant to what is around him, especially with people around him. He can pin point every detail about a person just by looking at them for ten minutes. It’s a gift pretty much. Rabastan is also very literate and he takes pride in the way he carries himself through language. He is very intelligent and loves a good fight every once in a while.

overall history, Rabastan Cassian Lestrange was the second born to Rosemary and Renault Lestrange, where he grew up to a very dangerous household. As little as he could remember there was a lot of abuse going on at his house. His mother who was the most caring woman in the world would take the emotional abuse from his father, and his older brother would take both the physical and mental abuse so that Rabastan and his mother could be protected. Immediately Rabastan hated his father, and grew a very close bond with Rodolphus. Rodolphus was the one had protected him for so long, and Rabastan swore one day that he would end it all for his brother.

Since the abuse was so hostile in his house Rabastan became a child of little words. He didn’t enjoy speaking his mind unless something really pissed him off. He felt that if he kept things to himself perhaps it could save some abuse from the household. Which was far from wrong, but then again he enjoyed being silent. The one time that Rabastan ever got scared was when a spider made its way into his bedroom. He had to get Rodolphus to kill the bloody thing, and that became one of the many secrets kept between them.

When Rodolphus went to Hogwarts for his first year, Rabastan learned first hand what if felt like to have been bruised and broken by his father. Since Rodolphus had left Rabastan was the one that had to take care of his mother while he was still there. Rabastan at that point also began to plot out his revenge on his father, so that he could also avenge his brother. It was time that the bastard had learned his lesson, and Hogwarts would only deepen his hatred of his father.

Hogwarts was an escape from watching and subduing to the abuse his father would submit to them all. He had a taste of what life was like without him, and it felt good. Rabastan became ruthless and sadistic over time. He had come to enjoy the dark arts, and over the past summer he was branded with the Dark Mark. Oh, how he would enjoy being the Dark Lord’s loyal servant. His first kill was the most thrilling thing he had ever done in his life, and ever since he became addicted. He couldn’t wait to shed more blood when he could. The next one on his list being his own father.
