severustobiassnapealias - professor abaris ----- professor of defense against the dark arts----- And oh what a feeling Inside of me It might last for an hour Wounds aren't healing Inside of me Though it feels good now I know it's only for now The feeling is intense You grip me with your eyes And then I realise It doesn't matter ----- though we may be the last in the worldFRIENDS Being friends with Severus isn't easy by any stretch of the imagination. Oh, he's perfectly fine with being an acquaintance. He'll greet you and make small talk about the weather if it pleases him. Most likely it won't. If you're rich and important (but mainly if you're a Death Eater), go ahead and make a deal with him... he's willing to brew just about anything, for a price. Severus is good at keeping secrets, but none does he guard more closely than his own. Especially since he's out of his element, being sent back to the worst possible section of his life. If it's a "bosom buddy" you're looking for, you're looking in the wrong place. Only a select few get to see the real Severus Snape, and even they aren't sure if they really know him at all. ----- the shame lies with usENEMIES Now, here's a category Severus is used to. If you're a Gryffindor, sign your name on the dotted line. Frankly, the whole lot of them are useless. Aside from that, any know-it-alls, idiots, crybabies, cowards, and suck-ups can go drown themselves in their own cauldron for all he cares. He can't stand anyone who is thoughtless, and Gryffindor bravery is the height of stupidity, to him. If you're a Death Eater, don't think you're safe from his wrath, though most of them he despises in secret. There are enough lackeys and morons amongst their ranks to keep Severus satisfied for a long time, not to mention that he hasn't agreed with their philosophies for quite a while. ----- we talk of love and trustLOVERS Severus is not even remotely thinking about love. If you think you have what it takes to charm him, go right ahead, but there's no way he will take you seriously. This latest twist in his life has left him unbalanced, to say the least, and, even if he gets over the shock of the time travel and seeing Lily once again, he's far too practical to really get involved with anyone. Though, you never know what could happen... LYRICS BY DEPECHE MODE

lucius&&SEVERUS As we discussed, these two will probably have a bromance develop, simply because they both have confused boners over their wife and past love, and they're stuck in a place with no way out, not knowing what the hell to do. So both of them are probably going to need to lean on each other for support. Not so friendly before will become friendly and all that jazz.
lily&&SEVERUS Tension, tension, tension. He'll have a confused boner over her, and she'll probably have a confused boner over him, mostly because she still has a thing for his younger self. but she's still pissed at young!Sev to do anything. I dunno how willing Sev will be to hang around Lily a lot; but, the familiarity of him will cause her to cling to Older!Snape, as she tries to hash out all her confused feelings because she's a muddled mess when it comes to love.

Bromance all the wayyy... it might be interesting if they had a conversation about nudging their younger selves in the right direction. I'm pretty sure Severus would be tempted, but would firmly believe in not meddling, but perhaps Lucius sees things differently? ;3 If not it will still be hilarious for them to lament their woes together...
snape&&lily
It would be interesting if she glommed onto him because she felt closer to him, and then we would have the problem of both James AND young Severus being all jealous she spends so much time with a teacher, and Snape-as-professor is like "What did I do to deserve this?" xD

Remus & Snape Oh boy. Judging from the relationship Snape had with Professor Lupin, I'd say that he still bares a grudge towards the Marauders for tormenting him during his school years. So maybe he'd see this as an opportunity to take Remus [and the others, by default] down a peg or two since he's in a position of authority? Hm, I don't know.
Any ideas?

It might be interesting to do a little plot bunny where good ol' Sev does a lesson on werewolves and makes enough veiled comments to where he makes it obvious he knows. James/whoever can be all infuriated and try to get back at him, but Remus takes it so well and is such a good student in class that Severus is forced to reconsider his notions about Remus being a useless coward and (perhaps) brew him Wolfsbane by way of peace offering, which I don't believe existed when they were in school... just an idea that might have interesting effects on the timeline.

Remus & Snape Haha, I could just see it now--Remus would feel so uncomfortable under Snape's scrutiny, he would definitely know then and there that Snape knew something.
But you're right, he's respectful enough to know not to start something and would try to calm James/whoever down and convince him not to pull anything. I think this could be a fun plot (:
He'd definitely be grateful for the Wolfsbane, and would probably try and convince his friends to lighten up on young Snape--if his adult counterpart is kind enough to help him out, then maybe he's not so bad? That's what Remus would be thinking at least.
So yeah, I can't wait (:

Professor && James I sense some tension here, I don't know exactly how they will react. They're probably not really on friendly terms, I don't know if James would get the full reason, I don't know that he's aware of what happens to him and that sort of thing. SO yeah...Yeah? XD

snape&&remus I think it'll make it even more interesting that nobody will know it's Snape at first since everyone's trying to hide the fact they are from the future. He's currently Professor Abaris, but won't it just be a shock when they find out an older version of Snivelly has been caught being nice? xD
snape&&james
Snape doesn't particularly like him, no, but he can appreciate his importance to the war effort. Besides, Snape doesn't really want to change the future; so, he'll probably just be unfair to him in class... I mean, if he did that to Harry I can't imagine not doing that to James. If you'd like to be part of the plottings that Remus and I have been discussing, being suitably nasty about your horrible professor, that would be awesome too. :)

James && Severus I like the sound of that. He would be the wary of the man, being the man seemed wary of him as well, so a bit of hostility always makes for a good time! I think this shall be fun.

Narcissa & SeverusWell, we know 'Cissy dearest isn't the biggest fan of the transfer teachers at the moment. However...things could warm up eventually. Now how shall we plot these two fools, fool!? (I must apologize, I've had far too much coffee for this late at night).

Omg that was hilarious that you said that. I pity the fool! xD Annnyyywayz, um, not sure what to do with these two. Sev/Luci are about to have a bromance about how it sucks that the women they want are all young and stuff, but as far as Snape and Narcissa....
I've got nothin'. Though its also kind of late so that might be the problem. xD

hehe. if you're a gryffindor sign your name on the dotted line. Obviously Meleny falls under that category. *meleny signs her name* (i was being funny but back to seriousness). We all know that Snape favors the Slytherins and her twin sister Jezebel is one of them who has traveled with her to this era. Snape always kind of creeped Meleny out and frightened her a little. Also, her father (in 1996) is a death eater. Meleny is on the good side. Her twin sister also wants to become a death eater. In 1977, her parents are seventeen.

Alice & Snape Well they didn't get along in the past because of how close Alice was to Lily. She's also a Gryffindor so he would probably give her a hard time I am guessing. She would also be kind of intimidated by him and would be the quietest she had ever been in her life in his class mostly out of fear on the inside xD

Elijah&&Prof Snape
Elijah is slytherin,quiet and not prone to acting out in his class.. I'm thinking as long as that continues than Elijah will be fine with the Professor and perhaps continue to fly beneath his radar..
