He wished he could express his concerns for her, but that just wasn't in his nature. After all he was supposed to be a badass Slytherin, and that's mainly what he went off of except for when he was with her sometimes. If they were walking around the grounds and there were others around he'd totally play the badass card, but other than that he dropped the act just for her. But still he couldn't just talk to her about this stuff, what was he even going to say to her? What if this was just more intense than his family issues? These were the times where he wished he had his older brother to talk to, he needed advice and he sure as hell wasn't going to get it from any of his friends. He was sure his friends would just tease him, after all they knew him to not be concerned with girl's feelings and all that nonsense. If only that were the case, if only he could just not think about these things and not get so wrapped up in there.
Emmelia was probably the only girl to see his good side, his nice and caring side. Really the only other women that got to see his sweet side was his mother and that was pretty much it. Very few of his relatives got the nice side but it was probably because they all seemed to be just as bad as him and therefore he just had to go along with the badass appearance he usually had.
She was pure evil, he wasn't sure how much of this he could take before he was just going to have to give up and kiss her. This was so hard, it felt like he hadn't kissed her in forever and now that's all he wanted to do. Kissing her again on the neck a little bit higher this time, he whispered in her ear,"What do I have to do to get you to tell me?" He knew he was going to win, this wasn't going to go his way but he was willing to try and prolong this defeat even though he was so so close to just letting her win and getting the satisfaction of kissing her.

Emmelia was determined within their next run in with each other that she would tell him. It was time for him to know how serious her house issues are, how much she needs to get away from them. She was nervous about how he was going to react. Regulus tended to have two personalities, one that was only shown when they were alone. She hoped that his sweet side would show when she told him and not his Slytherin badass persona. It made her laugh to see him put on this attitude in front of the others around school. It was just something she wasn't used to seeing from him, and it was so fake. Yes, Regulus could be a Pureblood elitist ass, but most of the time around her it was anything but that.
Emmelia had been over Grimmauld Place plenty of times with her family. They would often stay there during the duration of the summer, since their parents were close. It made Emmelia grow fond of the Black brothers. She grew up with them, knew how they both worked, especially with Regulus. They both had their wild card moments, but Regulus was the one that stayed most true to his character. Sirius would change when around James, become more of a prick. At least when Regulus acted like a hard ass Emmelia could tell it was fake. She knew him too well to know that's not really him.
The neck was her ultimate weakness and Regulus knew it. Chills ran across her back as he kissed her further up and whispered into her ear. He knew all the right places to get her, it was as if her body was perfectly in tune with his. Her breathing grew heavy as her pulse quickened with excitement. "That's your job to figure out, dear, I shouldn't have to tell you." She whispered back. It was growing harder to keep up this act but she was determined to win this match.

In just about any case his sweet side would always be out when he was around her. Except for maybe in public where he had to uphold his reputation of being one of the Black's. Unless she really did something, and it would have to be something terrible he doubted he would ever be mad at her. He cared about her too much, he wouldn't ever be ruthless and careless like he was to people that he hated or to people he didn't know. Though he was much for looking at the positive sides of things and thinking optimistically, he was doing his best to try and do it for this situation, or whatever it was. He was sure that whatever was going on he could do something to help her even if it was something small.
He always loved it when her family came to stay, it was the highlight of his summer. Even he had to admit that Grimmauld Place was a bit dark and dull at times, but whenever she came she made it so much more pleasant. Above any of the family's that dropped in at Grimmauld Place, he preferred hers over anybody else. Although he always had to share her attention with Sirius at home, which had been quite annoying. He didn't like sharing her attention with anybody especially his stupid brother who could always be an ass. The joys of being the younger brother. Thank god they were at school where he didn't have to deal with any of that now.
Regulus always enjoyed teasing her, though he was the kind that could dish it but not take it. He liked her teasing but it was always so difficult to not give in immediately. He smirked as he heard her breath become heavier. This was what he loved, he loved driving her crazy. Too bad it was so hard on him as well. Kissing her neck again softly, he then slowly began to kiss up her neck and to her jaw. "Are you going to tell me now?" He whispered back, trying not to sound too amused by the torture he was causing.

Emmelia could remember going over to Grimmauld Place every summer since she turned eight. She knew Regulus and Sirius before hand, but that's when she really got to know the boys. Sirius was a little mischief child running around, getting into tons of trouble. Regulus was the one that would just take it all in, but he would get into his own trouble. He was always the one that just snuck up on someone when they didn't expect it. Emmelia joined in and fit right in with them both, her personality was very spontaneous, making both of the boys include her almost instantly. She grew to love them both, in very different ways from each other.
She loved how Regulus could be very unpredictable, it made things very exciting. He intrigued her in many ways, and she was never bored with him. With Sirius he was constantly a ball of energy, he always was up for anything, and he was very courageous. She was attracted to them both and she knew eventually she was going to have to choose between them. She wished she could just have them both, but Sirius seemed to show no interest in having a relationship with her in the first place. Perhaps, Regulus had always been the right one for her, and she's too blind to see it. She knew that when she came over Regulus hated to see her paying attention to Sirius. The tension between them was unbearable.
"I'm not telling you, Regulus Black. You can't beat me at this, I'm just too good." Emmelia responded to him with a smirk, but she practically groaned at the feeling of his lips along her neck and jawline. He really knew how to go after her that was for sure. Could he just kiss her already? End the blast game. She leaned back against the couch her hands grasping the back as she looked at him all hot and bothered. "Come on, love. We both know this is just a game to see who cracks first." She held her smirk as she grabbed his jacket zipper and zipped it down slightly. He was going to give in...soon.

Regulus as a child was much quieter than Sirius, he was sneakier than Sirius was. He liked caused trouble but he was a lot smoother when it came to getting in trouble, he knew his role as the little brother and knew he could pretty much get away with whatever just as long as he could blame his oh so loving big brother. He had always loved having Emmelia join in on their plans, it had always been so much fun to have her around. He could just remember the times where they'd cause havoc around Grimmauld Place, his parents had wanted to murder them all by the end of the day but it had always been so much fun.
Between him and his brother, he had always thought he was the better one for her. Though he didn't like Sirius just because of all the issues thanks to their family, he had never liked them interacting with her. Maybe it was because he was the little brother and didn't have the same rights as his older brother, but he just didn't like it. He thought he was a better match, just as a friend of course, he was definitely less of a jerk than Sirius could be and he was sure he would listen to her better and pay more attention to her and all that. Oh the joys of sibling rivalry. But he couldn't help it, he just thought that he was much better than Sirius in every way possible.
"You are pretty good, but I'm better, Emmelia Jammison." He said with a smirk, he was determined to win now. If this wasn't a challenge before, it certainly was now. Hearing her groan just encourage him even more that he was going to win. "True....but you know me, I don't like losing." It was true he was always very competitive and even in these situations he liked coming out on top. Though he was pretty close to just giving into her, what would he lose? He wouldn't lose anything, in fact he would still be getting that kiss and he could just stop all this torture. He leaned in slowly, getting very close to her lips, should he just do it? He should, he was really thinking it was an amazing idea....but no he was going to give it one last hoorah before letting her win. He smiled and pulled away a little bit,"Come on darling, you know you want to give in."

Strangely enough Emmelia probably had her best childhood memories with the Black family. Their parents left them alone and they practically tore the house up. She could still remember Regulus' mother screaming at them all for the mess they made. The best part was that she never got in trouble for it, even when some of them were her own idea. It was either her twin brother, Eli, who took the downfall or Sirius. Regulus and her never got caught, except for once, but that was a fluke on their part. Regardless though she loved going over there, those were the best days of the summer, and when Hogwarts came around she enjoyed staying there until school would start. Then Sirius changed and left and everything was ruined. Her parents rarely allowed them to stay during the summer, stating the Black's needed their space.
Emmelia never noticed how much the younger Black really appealed to her. They were polar opposites but at the same time they complimented each other very well. She knew that he would treat her right, take care of her, but why was she still attracted to Sirius as well. It confused her and ran her around in circles, why were boys so difficult? She wanted to be with Regulus but at the same time longed to be with Sirius. Regulus was perfect for her, no matter what differences they had, it never bothered the other.
Emmelia smirked at his comments and just leaned back taking it all in. When he leaned in to kiss her she could almost feel his lips upon hers, she wanted him to kiss her so bad. It felt like ages since the last time they met like this, and she missed his tender embrace, the feeling of his soft lips upon hers. She chuckled though when he pulled away and leaned in on her tip toes to purred in his ear, "Oh, I do, very much." With that she kissed just below his ear on his neck and leaned back against the couch, waiting for the next move.

He wished he had seen her and her family more, but after all the drama with Sirius his family had been pretty crazy. It would have at least been better for him, then he wouldn't have been stuck in the house all by himself and his family listening to his mother and father talking about how he needed to be everything that Sirius wasn't. It had been a long summer, probably the worst one he'd ever had. But at least he had seen her every now and then which definitely made things a lot better for him. It at least gave him something to look forward to.
He honestly couldn't see what anybody would see in his brother. He'd seen his cocky attitude, and his friends and how annoying they were. Really, what self respecting girl would want to date Sirius or any of his friends? What did they have going for them? Sirius lived with James and that was just so great why? At least Regulus was going to be something soon, he was going to be a Death Eater and he was going to be one of the best. It had been his dream to be a Death Eater for a while now and now that he had the opportunity to do so he was definitely going to take advantage of it. His family would be proud of him and he was sure everyone else would be too.
She knew his weakness, took a deep breathe to try and calm himself down a little but it was so hard especially when she kissed him right there. Alright he couldn't take this anymore. But he so didn't want to give in, but he couldn't take it. He knew he was going to have to give in otherwise this was just going to be too much for him to handle. Pulling her close to him, he moved in close, his lips close to hers. "Alright, alright, you win." He smiled and kissed her softly, how he hated to lose but it was so worth it. It was like he hadn't kissed her in forever, it was so refreshing.

Emmelia knew that the whole Black family was against Sirius ever since he was placed into Gryffindor. His ideals changed, he changed in general afterward, for about a year she didn't see or talk to him. It was as if their prior friendship didn't exist, when she visited Grimmauld Place about two weeks before her second year. He was still different but at least he talked to her. Emmelia told Regulus what had happened and she hoped that he wouldn't be the same way. She felt as if they were way too close to just ignore each other, but then again she thought the same for Sirius as well. Going into her fourth year was when things between Sirius and her got better, but she still remained close to Regulus. She told Sirius things about her family, while she kept Regulus in the dark about it.
Emmelia knew how hard it was for Regulus of all of the Blacks for when Sirius actually left. When his mother burned out his picture on the wall, how they pressured him into being everything Sirius supposedly wasn't. She tried to be there for him through letters and promised to see him as soon as she could, but unfortunately that wasn't soon enough for both of them. Over this past summer it was as if their childhood was finally back except for Sirius, her and her family stayed at Grimmauld place, and after that party Regulus and her were practically inseparable. She loved it, loved being with him, being able to sneak into his room at night and just be who they were together.
The castle made it a little harder for them to actually sneak around and be together, but now that he knew about the Room of Requirement it should make things a little bit easier. Emmelia knew that she had got to him, the look in his eyes said it all, and when he pulled her close she could only hope that he would actually kiss her this time. She smiled at his defeat and she said, "I always win, Reg, you know this." With that he kissed her and its as if her heart sighed with relief, it had been a while since they last kissed each other, or even held each other close, and she missed it dearly. Emmelia's eyes fluttered closed as she kissed him back wrapping her arms around his neck. This was where she was meant to be.

He had never liked the change in Sirius, it had made him feel so distant from his brother. Not to mention it had put all the pressure on him to become a Gryffindor, the first day of Hogwarts had been the most difficult and stressful day out of his whole Hogwarts career. But he had been lucky, he had become a Slytherin and thank god for that. Not like he could imagine himself in any other house anyways. There was no way in hell he would be caught dead in Hufflepuff and he couldn't ever see him in Gryffindor, that was just...no he didn't even want to think of that idea. Ravenclaw he wouldn't mind as much, but Slytherin was a perfect match for him.
Regulus was very grateful for all the support she had give him during that very long summer. He didn't mind becoming the golden child of his family, it was kind of nice to be given the recognition he deserved. Though it was somewhat annoying, it was only because Sirius hadn't done the job and now they had just transferred all the hopes and dreams to him. But at least it was attention and it wasn't as if he didn't agree with them or anything. This summer had been the best summer out of all of them, even when Sirius had been around. He had enjoyed every day they had spent together and the nights had been even better. He liked it when she'd snuck into his room, it was nice to just spend time together alone.
It was definitely much harder to sneak around the castle, with all the prefects and teachers roaming around it made it quite hard to have a quiet moment unless it was after hours. Thank god for this room, this would be much cozier than any broom closet or empty classroom and no chance of interruptions. Yes, she always won. He didn't know how she did it but she always had a way of making him give in. But it was worth it, he didn't mind the defeat so much since he did manage to get something pretty sweet out of it. Pulling away after a moment, he smiled and said,"So are you going to tell me now?" Now that he had gotten what he wanted he know really wanted to know about this place. Though he was thinking about kissing her again, it was pretty addicting after all.

Emmelia could remember watching Regulus get sorted his first year. She could tell how much he didn't want to be placed in Gryffindor or Hufflepuff. She had talked to him on the train ride over and told him that the hat took into account what he wanted. She watched anxiously hoping that the hat would just place him into Slytherin and get it all over with. It took more than a couple of minutes for the hat to speak its peace, and finally he was placed into Slytherin. She was so relieved for him because she knew how much it meant, she knew how much impressing his family meant to him, making them proud. She made a seat next to him at the Slytherin table, and there they celebrated at the feast, as well as at the party in the Common Room. That was one thing about living in the Slytherin house, there was always a party during the weekends, and the beginning of the school year.
The summer went by fast after her parents annual party, getting forced into being a Death Eater, and then staying at Grimmauld Place for two weeks. She spent her days getting into some trouble, possibly helping Kreacher make dinner for the family. She enjoyed home cooked meals, that was one thing she prided herself in, she made great food. She couldn't help but wonder if Regulus thought her cooking was good, but then again it didn't really matter either. She would do anything for him and she wished that those two weeks hadn't ended so quickly. Resorting to them going to empty classrooms and broom closets after hours to be alone.
Emmelia looked into his eyes after he broke the kiss and smiled. "All you have to do is pace three times, thinking hard about what you want, and the door should appear." Pecks him on the lips. "There is the big secret for you, love." She added with a small smirk. She pressed her nose against his and closed her eyes loving the way she felt while she was with him. The way she felt safe and at ease in his arms, the way his kiss electrified and intoxicated her, she couldn't get enough of it. "I've missed you, Regulus..."

How he loved being a Slytherin, he loved being able to party in their common rooms. And there were perks about being a Slytherin after all. It seemed like nobody messed with him, well maybe not when he had been a first year alittle bit. But since he had older Slytherin buddies he had managed to get out of most of the first year bullying. He enjoyed being in Slytherin, and he really couldn't understand why anybody wouldn't want to be in their house. What was there not to love about their house? Out of all of them they were definitely the best out there.
He loved her cooking, there was nothing more satisfying than having a home cooked meal after a long day. Regulus had always left the cooking up to her and Kreacher, he was a horrible cook and always felt it was better to just let the real chefs do their thing in the kitchen. Especially after the last time where he'd tried to help, oh that had been horrible. The most he had ever done in the kitchen successfully was make tea and the rest he left up to Kreacher.
Regulus grinned, he was glad he had finally got the answer. He loved being close to her, he didn't know how he could survive not being this close to her all the time. It somewhat made him wish they could be a public couple, then he could do this more often without sneaking around. "That's easy enough. Maybe we should use this room more often?" He suggested, this would be the perfect place to go whenever they wanted to meet each other after hours. He loved holding her in his arms, he liked being protective over her and making her feel safe. "I missed you too. It's been too long." He felt he hadn't seen her in forever, he loved being around her and it was hard to not be around her. Kissing her on the forehead, he smiled, he was just so happy to be there with her. "So what have you been up to?" He asked, he was always interested in what she was doing, and lately he'd been a bit busier and hadn't seen her as much as he'd like to.

Emmelia had a love hate relationship with being a Slytherin. She loved being with most of the people in her house, not all of them were bad, loved actually being in the dungeons. Yet, for those she did hate she didn't like her house, and she also didn't like the fact that everyone stereotyped her on first meeting also. She was nice to everyone she ran into, unless they previously had harmed her. It was just how she was, she saw no need to be mean to others, and that's what made her different from most people in her house also.
For some reason she was the only person in her family who had an interest in cooking. Although she particularly enjoyed baking more. Sweets were her specialty and she loved just baking for hours. One day she baked non stop and had her house filled with delicious treats of all different kinds. Her family gave half of it to their friends because they didn't know what to do with them all. Emmelia could remember when Regulus attempted to help her cook...he almost blew up the house, and ever since decided to watch.
Emmelia had always been different from everyone else in her family. She was too kind in their eyes, the rest of them were vicious to each other and everyone else. She just didn't have the heart to be mean to anybody unless they deserved it. She didn't want to be a Death Eater either, or be a part of a pureblood elitist family. People were people, wizards were wizards, why did blood matter so much?
"I would have to agree." She smirked about using the room more often. It was perfect for after hours, although sometimes she liked the thrill of an empty classroom or broom closet. There was just something about almost getting caught that made her more excited. "It's been way way too long. You can't just disappear for weeks without at least seeing me a couple of times." She chuckled a little completely joking. They really haven't seen each other much and it made her miss him terribly. "Oh, you know. Quidditch, school work, Hogsmeade, a couple of Common Room parties. The usual...what about yourself?" She always listed Quidditch first, she was very passionate about the sport. Considering that she had been a Chaser for Slytherin since her first year, and has made them come out on top for five out of her seven years. This year she was determined to win the cup and perhaps go pro once she graduated.

He loved being a Slytherin, it went along with him so well. He enjoyed being somewhat feared by other houses, it made him feel as if he had more authority over them. The idea of having power was great, and it was something that he'd greatly look forward to when it came to him joining the Death Eaters.
He wished he could cook, nobody in his family knew how to since they'd always had a house elf and never really needed to know how to. But he kind of wished he knew how to cook at least one thing. Though so far his cooking experiments had resulted in almost setting things on fire, burning things to pans, and once getting what was supposed to be dough stuck to his hand and it wouldn't come off for quite a while.
Regulus had always loved that Emmelia was different than her family. She was much nicer, although he did like the rest of her family very much. But he just didn't get why she didn't agree with them. Maybe it was because he'd always just sort of went with what his parents believed and to him it really did make a lot of sense. But he did his best to just not talk to her about that stuff, he didn't want to argue with her.
This would be the perfect place for after hours meet ups. But broom closets were always fun, especially in between classes. It was always a thrill when you might get caught at any minute by a teacher. "Aww I'm sorry darling. I'll try and few up some more time for you." He would definitely try and do that, he liked spending time with her, it gave him time to relax and just be himself for a little bit. "How has Quidditch been?" He had always enjoyed Quidditch and even thought about trying out for the team, he had always been told he would be good enough for the team. And it would mean getting to hang out with her even more. "A couple of common room parties and I didn't see you at any of them?" He shook his head, and added,"I don't know how that's possible." Though if he remembered at the last common room party he had made a few drunken dares so he had been a bit preoccupied. It seems like he always got himself into trouble at those common room parties. But still he should have seen her! "I haven't been up to much, the usual stuff." He said with a shrug, lately his schedule had been not so eventful aside from that common room parties, he'd been so busy with schoolwork and now his parents kept on sending him letters about joining up with the Death Eaters over the holiday break so now he had to think about that.

Emmelia wished that she could show her family that she was doing something right for once in her life. It was as if she was always wrong and when she got punished for it, it always resulted in a new bruise somewhere. It's like they never took the time to understand her, everything she did was just barbaric to them. It hurt her when her father would beat her, not just physically but emotionally as well. Sirius was the only person who knew about her family harming her. She felt that since they had some of the same ideals he would better understand. Especially now since she was receiving death threats from her father.
There had always been something that told Emmelia to become a Pro Quidditch Player. When the scouts would come and watch every year they always approached her, talking to her about their teams and her ability. It made her feel that for once in her life she was wanted and she was doing something right. When she played Quidditch all of her frustrations went out on the field, she felt free as she flew, and hardly anybody could beat her when she had the Quaffle. It was simply amazing, and she put a lot of hard work into her Quidditch.
Broom closets were always fun in between classes or right when last classes ended. It's been a while since they have had that sort of fun, and she was wondering if they would soon. "You better. I can't stand not seeing you." She smiled up at him. Being in his arms made everything worth while to her. It was so relaxing. "It's been descent, we've been preparing for the first match against Gryffindor. Which you will come and watch right? Or perhaps join by then?" Emmelia asked him. She had watched Regulus play a couple of times and he was pretty good to play. "I don't know how I didn't see you! You must've been elsewhere." She snickered and kissed him softly on the lips.
"Regulus Black, there has to be something going on with you. You've been MIA for weeks." She chuckled but then had a serious look as she added, "Talk to me, love, what's going on?"

If he hadn't had his whole career chosen for him already he wasn't sure what he would be in life. He had always thought that playing quidditch professionally would be a dream but he didn't really think that would ever be possible. Maybe he'd go into the Ministry, though he wasn't sure just what department he'd want to be in. Either way he wasn't quite sure he'd like a desk job. But the idea of joining up with the Death Eaters sounded like a pretty ideal job. He got to move around a lot, there was excitement, and he'd have power, it sounded pretty amazing.
"Maybe, hopefully. I wouldn't mind playing a bit of quidditch this year." He smiled, he would love to beat Gryffindor and rub it in his brother's face. Plus it might help him get his mind off things. Flying was always a good way to relax, and it would give him more time with her. And it might be an easy excuse to get away after practice. Yes, he would definitely consider trying out for the team. "I guess so." He did have a very bad habit of wandering when he was drunk and there was a party going on. It was especially bad when they took late night strolls around the castle. It made the thrill of almost getting caught that much better, probably because everyone was giggling and doing their best to walk properly and not run into any suits of armor. Kissing her back, he was really curious as to where he was, he was going to ask his friends what had gone on at the last party.
He shook his head,"It's nothing, just some family stuff that's all. And you know, school work." The last thing he wanted to talk about was all the stuff that was going on with him. He just wanted to enjoy himself and relax for a bit. Kissing her on the cheek he looked over at the couch and said, doing his best to change the subject,"Let's sit and enjoy the fire." A very lame way to change the subject but whatever he just didn't want to talk about his family right now.
