Emmelia Jenelle Jammison was sprinting through Hogwarts grounds, trying her best not to trip and fall on her way to the Black lake. It had been two days since she told Sirius about Regulus, two days since she told him she would make a decision soon, and she couldn't wait to get to where they were supposed to meet for her deciding factor. She had a smile from ear to ear as she ran, she felt as if a huge weight was off her chest, for the past month she had been acting off, as if someone used the Imperius Curse on her. Why was she so stupid to do what she had done? Why was she so ignorant to do that to Sirius? How could she not see what was directly in front of her?
She sprinted across the coastline of the Black lake, she could see Sirius standing under the tree in the distance. It seemed like forever until she finally reached him, she didn't stop until she was in his arms, breathing heavy from the run. Tears flowed down her cheeks, everything was such a mess, and she was so glad that it was all over. Regulus was infuriated with her, she knew why, but she also knew that it had to be done. Sirius was the one for her, she hurt him deeply, and only hoped that he could forgive her. It was as if the water works just exploded upon seeing him, and she wept in his arms for a good couple of minutes.
Emmelia looked up at him at a loss for words. It looked like she was crying because she was upset, which that was only a fraction of it, but she had tears of joy as well. She was so happy that it was all done with, so happy that she was making the right choice. Yes, she was ashamed, yes, she was hurt for hurting the two of them, yes, she was ignorant and foolish. She made a huge mistake in almost letting Sirius go and she wasn't about to do it again. She couldn't let him go again and she was scared that he wouldn't forgive her. "Sirius, I'm so sorry..." She blurted out in a fit of tears.

Sirius had remembered Emmelia telling him that in a certain time period she would finally reveal her choice between Regulus and himself. The waiting was practically eating him inside and out, and his body was taking its toll from the stress caused from the waiting. Sirius hadn’t slept well the past two nights and to make matters even worse, he looked terrible.
More than anything Sirius wanted to wear anything but his school robes, but he didn’t have the energy to change into different clothes. He had walked out to the Black Lake minutes ago, and then he sat down under a large tree peering up at the clouds moving above his head. The various shapes of the clouds were reminding him of Emmelia, every stinking cloud reminded him of her. One looked like a broomstick, and another a snake.
Sirius told Emmelia to meet him out here whenever she had made up her mind. He had come out the past two days and waited until curfew, but she never came. It was hopeless, she was never going to choose him over his younger brother. Sirius was just about to give up all together, until he stood up, checking his watch for the time then seeing someone running towards him. He squinted his grey eyes trying to figure out who was running towards him. Emmelia? Could it really be her?
Emmelia had finally come within feet of Sirius and he hugged her in a welcoming way. Emmelia said she was sorry for everything that had taken place the past few days. My dear, all is forgiven
[/color] He held her in his arms, allowing her to cry the remaining tears upon his robes; he didnt mind at all. She cried for a little longer, then Sirius wiped her tears away with his sleeve and kissed her gently on the lips. I'm glad you are here. I was beginning to worry[/color] Lyrics: Partying, partying, yeah! (omg that song got stuck in my head) Wearing: Over Here!Tagged: Em! [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Regulus had practically tore her to shreds when she told him. He emotionally scarred her and she weeped over losing one of her best friends. It had to be done though, he had to be pushed to Rodolphus, and she had to make her decision. Emmelia loved to run that was certain, it made all of her worries go away, and all the bad emotion that she was feeling to completely leave her as well. When she saw Sirius under the tree she sprinted as hard as she could, the sand kicking up behind her, but she didn't care. She wanted to be in his arms, to kiss him, to apologize, and just be one with him. The tree was almost a mile away, and for some reason she felt she couldn't get closer.
Being in his arms made her feel so much better. Hearing his voice made her at ease, this was exactly where she belonged. This was where she always belonged and she almost let it all go. As he kissed her she cupped his chin in her hands and drew him farther in as she deepened it in return. He was perfect, everything about him was perfect. She loved him and couldn't imagine not being with him. His kiss was driving her crazy, it was so addicting, and she missed it over the past couple of days. She missed him in general over the past couple of days.
"There's no need to worry, Sirius. I wouldn't have just left you here." She told him breaking the kiss for a moment. Looking into his eyes she got butterflies in her stomach and she smiled as she said, "I love you so much, Sirius Black. I was foolish to have almost let you go." Emmelia wrapped her arms around his neck as she looked deep inside of him. Wondering if she could find any chance that he would reject her, and she hoped that he wouldn't.

Everything was moving so quickly, it felt as if it were yesterday when he found out Regulus had been seeing Emmelia as well. It was as if time was going in slow motion, the world was moving as normal but Sirius was caught in his own thoughts not worrying about anything else going on around him. Never had he felt quite like this before, it was strange to say the least.
Sirius began to think of how exactly Regulus would have reacted when Emmelia told him her choice to stay with Sirius over him. Regulus probably wanted to hunt Sirius down and beat him senseless. It was useless for Reggie to even try and touch Sirius. Regulus was all talk and no action. He had always been like this, especially when he tried to look like the golden child of the family around Sirius.
It was sickening, the entire thought of Regulus and how he would have treated Emmelia. It was a very good thing that Sirius was not around when Regulus was told, or all hell would break lose. Sirius had the upper hand, for he knew more spells and curses, ones that Regulus would need to even think about harming Sirius.
I know you wouldn't have left me here
[/color] He smiled and held Emmelia close to him, not planning on letting her go anytime soon. It was just where he wanted to be, holding her in his arms, protecting her from anything that was thrown their way. And I love you, Emmelia Jammison. I always will[/color] Lyrics: With you I am complete Wearing: Over Here!Tagged: Em! [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Emmelia was so relieved to finally be in his arms. Ever since she talked to Rodolphus she had made her decision. Although it was hard for her to tell Regulus they were done, she still had a giant bruise on her arm from where he grabbed her. She hoped that Sirius wouldn't notice it since she was wearing a tank top. It was rather warm for a fall day, usually it was freezing cold by now. "As will I, Sirius." She whispered with a smile. This was where she was supposed to be, he made her feel complete.
She looked up at him and wondered what was going through his mind. She wondered why he was forgiving her so easily, when she absolutely didn't deserve it. She was seeing his brother while she was dating him, how much lower could she get. She felt absolutely awful for the entire situation. "I don't know what happened to me over the past couple of weeks, Sirius...I haven't been myself." Emmelia told him frowning a little.
Emmelia wished that she knew why she had acted the way that she did. It was so unlike her to do such a thing. It went against all of her views and everything she had set for her. What made her think she could get away with it? Especially when she had such a guilty conscience when she even lied about one thing to her friends. "I'm sorry." Emmelia added shaking her head slightly. What was wrong with her?

Sirius was feeling under the weather the moment Emmelia had told him about her affair with Regulus. His heart sank and he felt nauseous, as if the feeling was never going to leave him. Everything had changed once this ordeal occurred. Sirius felt like he was never going to love anyone ever again. However, he knew he would never lose Emmelia as a friend; the best girl friend he had ever had.
I never doubted you
[/color] he said with a smile across his face, holding her close to his chest. It was where he was supposed to be, right where he belonged. This feeling was never going to change, he had felt like this for a very long time. He had never thought this feeling would ever come. Only in his dreams had he ever feel like this, it was perfect. Frowns a little after she had mentioned that she was not acting herself lately. It was true, and Sirius had taken a note of it. Usually Emmelia would be a cheerful person, not really one to pry into other's business. But lately she was around more Slytherins, the pureblood elites, the very people she hated most of all. What was going on, dear?[/color] Lyrics: Without you I'm no one, I'm nothing at all Wearing: Over Here!Tagged: Em! [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Emmelia buried her face into his chest and took in a deep breath. This was exactly where she was meant to be, how could she have ever doubted this? Sure, Sirius had a bad reputation with woman in the past, but she felt as if it were different. That he wouldn't hurt her and perhaps move with their relationship to the next level. She loved him too much and could only imagine what he felt when she told him about Regulus. She already loved him so why didn't she just tell him that and tell him that she would completely cut it off with Regulus as soon as she saw him. Perhaps because she was so infatuated with his brother, that's all that it was was infatuation. There wasn't real love there for her, but there was love with Sirius. She felt it so hard in her heart that it was practically bursting.
"I doubted myself. I don't know why but for some reason I've just been completely doubting my choices as of lately." The tears formed all over again as she looked into his eyes. "With all these death threats from my father, being around the Slytherin's whose families loved them, it just made me think that I was wrong. It made me second guess everything that I was doing. That perhaps sucking up and doing what my parents wanted wasn't so bad...that maybe the abuse would stop and so would the death threats..." The tears fell and she shook her head.
"But when you said that my parents would approve of me being with your brother. It shocked me. It made me realize that I've been acting different, it made me see what I was beginning to conform to, and that has never been me. I have never ever condoned to cheating, to the pureblood elitists, to being a Death Eater, and out of nowhere I was beginning to." She frowned and bit her bottom lip for a moment before continuing, "I can't believe what I almost did. I almost let go of the one man that has always cared for me, who loved me, and supported that I was different from the rest of my family and the Slytherins." She held onto him tighter and kissed him gently whispering, "I can't believe I would've just let you slip away..."
