What does everyone think of when they hear October? Halloween With the transfer students filling the halls, along with Hogwarts' other students, there seems to be a need for a sense of comradery. What's the best way to create friendship? A party, of course. Hogwarts' staff have organized a masque for the the students. Costumes are a must, but make sure you keep them formal. Oh, and don't forget to ask that special someone to be your date! -------------- A great tent has appeared on Hogwarts' grounds, the location for the upcoming Halloween masquerade. While roleplaying won't start for a little bit, there are several subboards you can. Please notice the boards for sending little love owls to the potential date you have your heart set on. Be quick, someone might just ask them first! There's also a board for you to post the outfit of your choice. Remember, think costume and formal! Oh, and it'd be super cute if you and your date coordinated your costumes. Don't forget your masks! Another update will follow when the roleplaying starts! 'Till then, Happy plotting!

And the masquerade is finally here! Everyone has been rushing around trying to find dates and costumes that the date has come faster than the think! Excited? You should be. -------------------------- Here's how the dance is going to work! The in-character cbox is going to be used for the ball from FRIDAY JULY 22nd, 8 PM EASTERN TIME - SUNDAY JULY TWENTY FOURTH, 8 PM EASTERN TIME. Those three days will count as one day in-character. This means everyone should be able to pop in at least for a few minutes and won't have to miss the fun! Only the masquerade will being occurring there. Any ic-cbox plots, fun, and general common room goodness will have to wait until after. :] We're doing it this way because it would be infeasible to try and have everyone do a group thread! However if you would like to have your characters go for some private time or a private conversation between 2 or 3 characters a thread is the perfect tool for that! All threads must be posted in the 'Event Tent' board. On that note, every single character that attends will be required to do a log about it. It doesn't have to be long and it doesn't have to be crazy detailed, but it let's everyone keep track of just what went on that night!
