Emmelia Jenelle Jammison was wondering through the little town of Hogsmeade. Which, of course, was in the middle of the night on an unscheduled visit for the students. She was dressed in a pair of dark faded jeans, a laced black top, and a pair of grey heels to match. Her hair was in loose curls along her shoulders and she wore a blank expression upon her face. There was a lot weighing on the girl's mind and she was ready to drink it away tonight. She entered The Three Broomsticks which was always packed at any hour. Especially at this time, there was hardly a place to move, but she managed to wiggle her way through the crowd, past a couple of dirty old men attempting moves on her, and to an empty table in the back.
A waiter came around and she ordered a firewhiskey for the start. She looked out the window her wand on the table with her right hand resting against it, and her left hand propping her head up. There her thoughts drifted back to her family and what she was going to do. Staying with James and Sirius was always an option, but she didn't want to intrude herself upon them. With the holidays approaching fast though she couldn't help but think it would be her only option either. With a sigh she thanked the waiter and began to drink her liquor, still staring at the window.
She jumped a little as someone sat down in front of her, and let out a sigh of relief upon seeing Lucius Malfoy sitting before her. She faked a small smile and said, "You scared the hell out of me..." Before glancing at her firewhiskey and downed the rest of it, hollering at the waiter to bring her another round as well as one for her Quidditch Captain. It was bound to be an interesting evening.

Lucius had been bumming around Hogsmeade for the day and not doing a hell of a lot other than cavorting with his mates that had decided to skip with him. He hit his usual haunts, mainly the few stores that were a little too expensive in taste for the general population of Hogwarts to handle. It was his own little way of weeding out the undesirables. Other than that, he made sure to wander through Honeydukes and Zonko’s, even though he rarely ever bought things there, something seemed to draw him to the shops. It was probably that he wandered them when his mother was still alive and all of the buzzing crowd and colors reminded him of those trips.
His last stop was usually The Three Broomsticks for a firewhiskey and maybe a good conversation or two with whoever was out and about in those parts. It was a pretty cold afternoon, with Halloween just around the corner at school. The warm air and smells of the pub hit him like a wall and had him feeling toasty in no time at all. Looking over the crowd, he saw a familiar head at one of the tables and head over there. Normally, he would have headed straight up to the bar, but a familiar face was always welcome, especially since he hadn’t been expecting to see anyone on a non-Hogsmeade weekend.
He sat down rather quickly without announcing himself and had apparently startled her. “Jumpy today Em?” He laughed, leaning back in his seat. “I suppose you do garner some unwanted attention when you come in here. The pigs.” He used his thumb to point backwards at a table full of older, greasy looking wizards. “It’s just little old me. No prefects or professors here.” He laughed again, nodding when she ordered him a firewhiskey. “You know me well Jammison. What brings you out here on this fine October evening?”

There was more than just her family on her mind lately. Not only did she have to worry about her father coming after her, but she was also worried about the Black brothers. Regulus and her had been secretly hooking up for quite some time, and now that she was pretty much dating Sirius it made everything so much more complicated. She didn't know whether or not she was choosing the right man all of a sudden. She loved them both dearly, they both held a special place in her heart, and she was torn right down the middle between choosing one or the other. If Regulus found out about Sirius and her, well, he wouldn't talk to her again. Losing his friendship wasn't worth it in her opinion and on top of that she wanted to be with him also. Then on the other hand she didn't know how Sirius would react to her secret meetings with his brother, and she wanted to be with him and have his friendship also.
Emmelia settled down into the chair she sat in after half jumping out of it. "Sorry, I just have a lot on my mind, and wasn't paying attention." She told him. She glanced over at the older men half falling out of their chairs to get a look at her and she rolled her eyes. "If any of them come over here, you are my boyfriend for the night." She chuckled and began to drink her second firewhiskey.
"A heavy mind and wanting to drown it all away brings me out here." Emmelia told Lucius with a weary smile. "What about yourself?" She added. For some reason she felt she could trust Lucius. Most people didn't like him, and they had their arguments, but at the same time they trusted each other. She could confide in him for anything and at this moment she truly needed it.

Boyfriend for the night. Lucius had heard that song before, but luckily, he knew that Emmelia meant absolutely nothing by it. It was really nice to be able to sit back with one of his teammates and have a firewhiskey without having to worry about someone coming in an arguing and making all sorts of noise. He chuckled slightly “Be careful spreading that around Em. I’m still on probation with Narcissa.” He shook his head and sighed. It seemed to be taking forever for him to get out of this probationary period with Cissa. It really hadn’t been all that long, but it was taking a toll on him and the quitting smoking was making him rather irritable.
Lucius hadn’t really sat down and just talked with Em in ages. As the captain, he usually tried to know what was going on with his players and offer a helping hand when he could, but he had been much too preoccupied with his own business to concentration on anything else. It made him feel bad, but he really wanted it to work out with Narcissa. That had to come first in his book, over all the other stuff in his life. Em talked about a heavy mind, and that made him nervous. He didn’t want anything to be affecting the team’s performance on and off the pitch.
“Heavy mind eh?” He shrugged, nodding when he received the firewhiskey, taking a nice drink. “I just needed to get the hell out of that bloody overcrowded school. All those damn transfers.” He paused for a moment and looked down into his glass, “And a heavy mind I suppose. Isn’t there always something?” He threw her a sheepish smile, relaxing back into his chair. “What’s the matter Em? Is someone bothering you?” He asked outright, not wanting to bother with skipping around the question for ten minutes. He wanted to get to the root of the problem so he could get his best chaser back in top playing condition.
