The pain was severe, Emmelia had felt severe pain plenty of times, but this was nauseating. She stumbled through the streets of Hogsmeade unable to keep her vision focused, practically falling into buildings. She was lucky no one else was outside but she could have cared less right now. She stopped for a second trying to hold up her balance for a minute against the nearest light pole. Her father had done this to her once, her mother actually had to take her to St. Mungo's later that night because the headaches were so intense she would vomit every ten minutes. Emmelia lied to the Healer's saying she fell down the stairs, when in reality her father pushed her hard into the corner of her bed.
Emmelia attempted to remember the events clearly of the night but she could barely focus. It was mainly Regulus and her fighting, Sirius threw in a word, then he snapped and hurt her. She groaned slightly, all she wanted to do was sleep this whole nightmare off. She could see the Shrieking Shack in the distance and made her way into the confines of it. She stumbled through the door and practically fell onto the floor, but she luckily regained composure. Emmelia didn't even bother to make her way up the stairs, all she wanted to do was forget everything. This whole thing began with her, she ended it rather violently tonight, it wasn't what she wanted, but it had to happen.
She slid down the wall until she finally was sitting with her knees to her chest. Tears fell as she sat there alone thinking about what was going on, she cleared up rather quickly though and closed her eyes for a moment. Her head was pounding tremendously, he had got what he wanted, he actually physically hurt her. She pushed him to that point and Emmelia felt horrible for it. How could she have done this? Well, looks like her choice was in fact right after all. She placed her left hand on the back of her head and winced upon feeling the open wound. Noticing a shadow emerge from the corner of her eyes she could only hope it wasn't Regulus. Looking up she was relieved to see Sirius standing there.
"Well, I deserved this..." Emmelia told him looking back down at the floor. What in the world was she thinking? Talking to him when she knew he had been avoiding her for a reason. "I hope you know that I found him there. I was attempting to fix things up a little." She couldn't help but laugh at her stupidity. "What the hell was I thinking?" She winced as a sharp pain went through the back of her skull. Closing her eyes she sat there and attempted to deal with the impending pain. What else could she say to Sirius? She had been apologizing so much lately...it needed to end in her opinion. She wanted to move on with him.

Sirius was getting tired of the way Regulus was treating Emmelia, sure he had a reason to do so, but it was not in the Black family to treat someone with such disdain. The Three Broomsticks was getting a little too crowded for his pleasure. Regulus began to fight back with him, but Sirius had cast the Confundus Charm earlier in the evening, thus causing Regulus to be confused and unable to perform simple spells. It was Sirius' golden spell and his one way ticket to getting away unharmed. However, he did need to teach Regulus a lesson for messing with his girlfriend. A few uppercuts and punches to the stomach did the trick, as he watched Regulus practically fall off his bar stool. He shrugged his shoulders, as he reached into his pocket grabbing a few galleons and sickles placing them on the bar top.
This should cover for his tab he said to the bartender with a small smile. His eyes glanced from the passes out Regulus to the door. He began to wonder where on earth Emmelia had run away to. It was a shame it was not the winter season, for snow would lead her tracks to her current location. Sirius had to find her rather quickly, for the damage she took from Regulus was brutal. His grey eyes scanned the nearly vacant Hogsmeade village. Damn it there was no trace of her anywhere he could see. Then it hit him, like a spell hitting him directly in the chest. Emmelia had always talked about visiting the Shrieking Shack. There was no time to lose, he began sprinting towards the Shack, which was not too far away from his current location.
His legs carried him up various side streets and up a long and steep hill. At last, the shack was in his sights. Sirius knew Emmelia had to be inside, sure it was supposedly haunted, but it was the safest place other than Hogwarts. He had finally made it to the old wooden door of the shack, he pressed his hands on the knob, turning it slightly. The door opened to an empty room, with stairs leading up. His feet once again carried him up the stairs, he was slightly out of breath once he had reached the top of the stairs. A girl was seated on the floor, it was Emmelia. Emmelia! Bloody hell, that bastard got your pretty bad his eyes scanned her head to her legs, looking for any cuts or bruising. Regulus had to pay for what he had done to her. I'll kill him he said growling under his breath, his eyes were cold and wanting revenge.

The Shrieking Shack for some reason always had intrigued Emmelia but she never seemed to have the chance to take a visit up to the supposedly haunted place. She wished that she could have visited it while she could see straight, but at least she was still conscience. She sat there in pain as she heard the door to the shack open and someone come bounding up the stairs. She looked up at Sirius and smiled lightly, she was glad that it was at least him that had found her there.
Hearing his words she immediately grabbed his arm with her right hand, which luckily wasn't covered in blood and her eyes were wide. "Sirius, please no." She shook her head but winced in pain immediately regretting the sudden movement. Yeah, he got her good alright, she knew that Madame Pomfrey was going to want an explanation to what happened once she visited her. "He isn't worth it..." She added after regaining her composure.
She rested her head on her knees, she was light headed. That door really hurt her and at this point all she wanted to do was pass out and sleep off the events of the night. Yet at the same time she knew that she needed to stay awake. Glancing up at Sirius again she smiled a little. Yes, she was still a little tipsy, and he was so good looking when he was angry. She was so fatally attracted to him, even in her darkest moments.

Sirius was growing tired of having to watch over his shoulder in case his dear brother was going to attack him from behind. The feud between the two brothers had to end. He hated fighting with his own flesh and blood, especially over Emmelia. The three children had grown up together and they would spend their Christmas’ together, that was until Sirius had decided he had enough of his parents and decided to leave home. It was becoming evident, he was showing signs of missing his family but he knew he would never be accepted back into the family for what he had done. It didn’t matter anymore; it was all in the past. His gray eyes looked around the room making sure they were the only one’s here, then his eyes gazed down at her, offering her a warm smile.
It’s all going to be okay, my dear he spoke calmly, and touched her shoulder with his right hand. After he had spoken about wanting to seek his revenge on Regulus, Emmelia immediately rejected his proposition. Never would he intend on killing his own brother or killing anyone, Sirius would not have the heart to watch a life be taken from someone. His eyes looked away from her and he cringed slightly at the thought of losing his brother. Sure they had fought more than they had ever gotten along, but he still cared deeply about the well being of his brother. He isn’t worth it her words rang in his head as he looked on. She was right, as usual.
You took a strong blow from him. I promise I won’t retaliate against him he looked at her once again, trying to ease her pain. Sirius was going to stay with her until the end or when she wanted him to leave her alone.

Emmelia had felt horrible for causing more of the brothers problems. As if Regulus didn't hate his brother enough, she just made matters worse. She wished this situation never happened, it was a stupid decision she had made. And now on top of it she was hurt by what used to be one of her best friends. She missed Regulus as a friend, but after this she never wanted to see him again. Emmelia reached behind her head and took in a deep breath. She needed to go to the Hospital Wing to get this fixed, as soon as possible.
"It's not okay, Sirius." Her voice was shaken, her hands were shaking. The room was fuzzy and she could barely see Sirius in front of her. Closing her eyes the room span and she grumbled in pain. Standing up she wobbled a little grabbing onto the banister of the stairwell to regain her balance. This was not good. How could things be okay when she had a blasted concussion. She stood there gripping the railing trying to remain calm. She needed to take deep breaths and be as collected as she possibly could.
"Yeah, I did...I'm glad you're not going to. That's all he needs is more satisfaction." Emmelia showed Sirius her bloody hands now. "Needless to say he pushed me into the door a little harder than I even thought." She added. Regulus didn't deserve to know how much he truly hurt her, not just emotionally but physically. "I need to see Madame Pomfrey. It's getting worse..." She whispered mainly to herself.
