Greasy black hair falls in curtains, half obscuring a sallow face, only shades from looking jaundiced and a mouth full of crooked yellow teeth. Black eyes look out through this, hiding a galaxy of mysteries within and showing and ever present anger and bitterness. This too is reflected in the scowl, which ever plays upon his face. Tall and thin, Severus obscures this shape in a slouch more often than not. It is also hidden in a black cloak, too wide for his frame. It was made for a large tall person, and like most other thing Severus has, it is second hand. When not in his Slytherin uniform, Snape has several black pieces. Black forgives many things and hides dirt well.

Personality and Severus Snape seems almost like a contradiction in terms. coming from an angry and abusive father and a neglectful mother, Severus grew up in a home where was no love and no nurturing of any sort. As a result, he knows little of the nuances of the social graces. Thankfully, that matters little with the future Death eater society. He was taken into the group by Lucius Malfoy in his first year, and he felt honor bound to them ever since. He does his best to learn every spell and potion that might make him useful to the dark lord. He participates in every even sponsored by one or all of them, and even though he is still not much of a conversationalist, he has made a name for himself in the circle. most of his friends knew that to have Severus Snape do something was guarantee that it would be done.

On the other hand, there was Lily. Severus had met Lily before even going to school. She was his first friend and his first love. She was the first person who had ever gained from Snape a sense of loyalty and he still felt the pull to her, even though she was angry with him. This presented quite a problem, for Lily Evans, the love of his life was muggle born, something his people were set against. Unwilling to separate himself from her or them, Snape had decided to be both, even though his loyalties were effectively split. It was almost as if he made two persons, Lily's Sev and the death eater's Half Blood Prince. Each was separate from the other and never the tween shall meet, so the old wizard saying went. Then again there was that time in his fifth year where his Slytherin pride hit Lily in the face. That ruined everything, but Snape was not willing to give up. Nothing had ever been easy for him before, so why should this be? This did not mean he had lost.

mother & family,
Mother is Eileen Prince, the heir to the great prince line. How she ended up with that muggle Tobias is a matter that still mystified Severus to this day. He has decided that the muggle must have drugged and raped the poor girl, essentially trapping her in his house, when she became pregnant. Otherwise, perhaps Eileen would have taken care of him, or even cared. As it is, he barely sees his mother, having been more or less on his own for over half his life already. She might as well not even be there, except for the yelling.

Tobias Snape, a muggle from a muggle family. Tobias is always poor, always bitter and angry and he hates the fact that his wife and son can both do magic, but will do nothing to help him. He takes this anger out on both of them whenever he feels bold enough to do so. Granted, this has grown less and less for the older Severus grows, the less reluctant he is to fight back. Tobias works his job and escapes his family whenever possible. Whenever he is home, he is usually locked in battle with his harpy wife, Eileen.

Severus Snape was born to muggle Tobias Snape and witch Eileen Prince in the poverty stricken muggle area known as Spinner's End. He was largely left to his own devices for as long as he could remember. His earliest clothes were an apron and an old coat. Buying clothes for the boy was apparently too much trouble, as was cooking and bathing and other domestic luxuries. So, growing up, Severus did the best he could, getting food of sorts and staying away from the house as often as possible for it was a loud and very violent place.

He did however have one good friend. Lily Evans, a girl in a nearby neighborhood. She had sparking green eyes like emeralds and flaming red hair. she was the most beautiful and kindest person he had ever met and Severus was immediately smitten with her. He taught her that she was a witch and showed her what magic could do when all she had a mean older sister, Petunia. Severus spend all the time he could with her, teaching her, watching her, mystified that she could defend her terrible sister when all that muggle did was insult and yell at her, like Tobias. The love was something he could not grasp.

In time, Snape and Evans both received their letters and went to Hogwarts.
It was on the train that Snape had the most unfortunate displeasure of meeting James Potter and Sirius Black. They hated him from the beginning and the loathing was mutual. they remain bitter enemies to this day. He hates Sirius and Potter because they are gits. He despises Pettigrew for being such a coward, hiding behind the others. Lupin, on the other hand, is an odd case. On one hand Remus had never done anything to him and he seems to try, in his own timid way to stop them, sometimes. On the other hand, Lupin is so ineffective at any of those attempts, that it is rather pathetic. The marauder called Moony does seem better than the others, but for all his virtue, he cannot be a proper prefect when it comes to his friends. When it came to Lupin, Snape decided he would not attack the kid alone, but neither would he spare him in the group, effectively he was on his own.

In his fifth year, Severus made what would become his worst memory. He alienated Lily with a few angry words. The next year, he discovered Lupin's secret. Sirius helped him get into the whomping willow and he nearly got bitten by the teen werewolf. James, at the last minute, saved his own skin by saving Snape. Dumbledore made him promise not to tell and so far, Severus has kept to his word. The headmaster had ears everywhere, and going against him was about as bright as defying the dark lord.

Severus Snape walked down the corridor, his eyes scanning every corner and crevice as he went. It never paid to be too cautious. Especially with the likes of James Potter and Sirius Black. They were sneaky, stealthy, and completely untrustworthy. It was a shame they used their powers in ways that were completely wrong. Sirius, at least, could have been a good Slytherin. It no longer mattered though, the lines were drawn, and the battle was unending.

After a long and dangerous journey, Snape found himself safely at his destination. The potions classroom in the dungeon. No, it was not time for class, per say, he just needed use of the room for a bit. Lets just say, Slughorn will not be seeing this potion. In fact, no one in the school will know it was ever made except for two people. Those two are Snape himself and the one who commissioned the work. He dared not even think the name or the intention. Anyone could be out there listening. He did not trust the school, Dumbledore, any of them. That old man, especially was hiding something behind those merry blue eyes, Snape was certain of it. What was it?

There was no time for speculation. Snape had a small window to get his work done in, and he was not willing to let any of it go to waste. Setting to work quickly he set up a small station in the back and began adding ingredients as quickly as the potion recipe would allow him to. Within minutes, it was softly boiling over a small fire, looking perfect and nearly complete. A sense of accomplishment fell over Severus in spite of the desperate condition that required him to make it. It was almost a shame no one would ever know what he did here, for it was truly a work of genius.

On the positive side now, she owed him big now. Naturally Severus would not use this favor right away. This would be something to be held and saved for a moment of desperate need. The potion was complete. Quickly, Snape bottled the mixture, a deep purple with the consistency of syrup. A desperate potion for a desperate situation. He bagged this quickly then cleaned. He was almost home free. One more moment and the worry of getting caught would be nil. Just then, however, after everything was back in place, the door opened, someone was coming in. moving quickly, Severus hid in the cloak closet. He was not going to get caught now, not after he was so close to getting away. Pressed against the back wall, Snape hoped whoever it was, they did not see them. This would be hard to explain.

Two issues:

First of all you've left sort of all the little instruction pieces next to the questions before your answers. That just makes it a litttttle tricky to read.

Second you don't have an image. You're not at allll required to use the movie actor for Severus. In fact, I recommend you don't because there aren't near enough images for him to be a good PB.
