His eyes are a deep emerald green that darken depending on his mood and he has ebony black hair that falls to the nape of his neck. He is pale skinned; tall, and skinny from the less then stellar treatment from his aunt and uncle for all the time he has been living with them. He has a lightning shaped scar on his forehead from the curse Lord Voldemort tried to use to kill the boy with. strengths, Harry is very loyal to his friends, he doesn’t abandon them and he does his best to keep them safe. He is a fierce fighter and uses what knowledge he gains from class to aid him in battle. A lot of what he does however is usually spur of the moment as he doesn’t often have time to think.
weaknesses, Harry’s temper has a tendency to be a problem, when he gets angry it doesn’t usually go away easily. He is also often times reckless and will charge head long into things before he think about what he is doing. It gets him into trouble that he has a hard time getting out of at times.

overall personality, Harry is a very loyal and caring person, he will go out of his way to help others, with no thought about himself. He does what he believes is right and for the best even if he doesn’t always think before he leaps into things. Despite his compassion and dedication to others Harry does have a temper and it is not always in check. He often allows his temper to boil over getting him into trouble as he acts on emotion and impulse rather then thinking things through. He is also one that becomes easily obsessed with things and it has gotten him into situations that he barely managed to get out of.
Harry is no great shakes at some spells, for example he has trouble with Occlumency and is unable to close his mind to Voldemort’s thoughts and visions. Through this mental link Harry often experiences Voldemort’s emotions and they come through in him making him irritable and angry a lot of the time. He has no problem speaking his mind when he knows he is right about something even if it lands him in detention or risks a spell slung at him in a hallway. His caring personality is not always a blessing either, having him care too much, as he puts it often gets others hurt and he cannot stand to see that happen.
In situations he has no control over or is unaware of what is going on Harry has a tendency to do his best to keep a cool head and demeanor. It does not always work of course as fear is a very powerful thing and has a tendency to take over. When fear takes hold Harry is prone to acting without thinking and that has often gotten him into trouble that he needs quick thinking and the help of his friends to get him out of. overall history, Harry Potter is the only son of Lily and James Potter, the boy was orphaned at a year old when Lord Voldemort attacked his family and used the killing curse. Harry is the only one who has had the killing curse used on him and survived. The result of surviving is the lightning bolt-shaped scar on his forehead. He was taken from the destroyed house by Hagrid and brought to his aunt and uncles house to be raised away from the wizarding world until he was ready to accept being famous and a wizard. When he was 11 years old Hagrid told him, that he was a wizard and that he had been accepted at Hogwart’s School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Through his years at Hogwart’s Harry has made friends and enemies within the castle walls, his two best friends Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasely share in a lot of his adventures around the castle. Harry is often getting into trouble around the castle, be it with his enemy Draco Malfoy, or earning a detention with one of the teachers. He often gets out of other sticky situations with the help of Hermione and Ron, and he has done the school several services since he has been there.
In Harry’s first year he uncovered the Philosopher’s stone by getting through a series of magical traps that the teachers had put in place. With Hermione and Ron’s help he got to Professor Quirrell, stopped Lord Voldemort from using the stone. He was protected from being hurt by Quirrell and Voldemort by the protection of love his mother had bestowed upon him when she kept him safe. In his second year strange things started to happen around the school and Harry found out he was a parselmouth, having the ability to talk to snakes. When that was discovered at a dueling match everyone believed he was the heir of Slytherin. As attacks on students became more severe the school believed that Harry was behind it and kept themselves well away from him. Through research and determination Harry opened the Chamber of Secrets under the school and destroyed a sixteen year old memory of Voldemort. He also saved Ginny Weasely’s life down in the chamber and won her eternal admiration. In his third year Harry found out that the murder Sirius Black was his godfather and that he had been wrongly accused of killing the Potter’s. With Ron and Hermione’s help he freed Sirius and conquered his fear of Dementors by learning Expecto Patronum from Professor Remus Lupin.
In Harry’s fourth year the Triwizard Tournament was held at Hogwart’s for the first time in years. Harry’s name was put into the goblet and through a binding magical contract he was forced to compete. The school and Ron Weasley turned on him once more beliving that he had found a way to cheat the age line that had been put up and registered himself. Harry went through the tasks with the rest of the champions and after the first task of going against a dragon and nearly being killed he gained Ron’s friendship back. Durning the last task Harry and Cedric tied for the Triwizard Cup after Cedric stopped a bewitched Viktor Krum from attacking. Upon touching the cup Harry and Cedric arrived in a graveyard that Harry had seen in his dreams since the beginning of the school year. Under no power of his own Harry aided in Lord Voldemort’s return to flesh with the use of his own blood. He also saw Cedric Diggory killed in cold blood and fought with Voldemort in the graveyard. When a spell was fired from both wands the spells connected in the middle and Voldemort’s wand was forced to expel all the spirits of those he had killed with his wand. Harry saw his parents spirits that night and Cedric asked that his body be returned to his family.
Harry’s fifth year was spent dealing with Dolores Umbridge attempting to completely take over Hogwart’s and change the way witches and wizard’s learn at the school. Umbridge tried to tell the students that Harry and Dumbledore’s claims that voldemort was back were false. As a result of speaking up and telling her that she was lying, Harry was forced to go through detention with Umbridge. In that detention he was forced to write lines that caused him to cut open the back of his own hand. The end result left him with the words ‘I must not tell lies’ etched into the back of his hand where it scared. When Hermione stated that Umbridge was not teaching Defense Against The Dark Art’s properly she suggested they have someone teach them. Harry ended up being volunteered for the job and through him and those willing to follow him Dumbledore’s Army was born. The D.A. practiced their defensive spells under Umbridge’s nose throughout most of the year until they ended up being caught. Harry’s inability to block his mind from Voldemort caused him to receive a false vision of Voldemort torturing Sirius. Frantic to get to his godfather Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Neville, and Luna ended up heading to the ministry of magic to save him. Harry and his friends entered the Department of Mysteries and Harry found out about the prophecy that was written about him and Lord Voldemort. In a battle between Death Eaters and the Order of the Phoenix the orb holding the prophecy was smashed and Harry ended up watching his Godfather die at the hands of Bellatrix Lestrange.
With the return of Voldemort Harry’s courage and skills are tested and pushed to the limit as he knows he is the only one who can get rid of the Dark Lord forever His friends stick by him every step of the way no matter what happens, Harry finds himself very lucky in that regard. Harry knows of the daunting task before him but he is determined to take Voldemort down even if it costs him his own life. He knows that he is the only one who has the chance of saving the wizarding world from a fate of darkness and horror. He can’t help being afraid however, given his many brushes with death before while facing Voldemort, it is a weight that continues to drag him down with every passing day. With the start of his sixth year at Hogwart’s Harry will receive private lessons with Dumbledore that the headmaster hopes will prepare him for the task of going against Voldemort and defeating him.
When Harry went to sleep one night in his dorm he found himself waking up to a very different world then the one he went to sleep in. When he woke the dorm room was the same, upon entering the common room however he ran into people he had never seen before. Harry found himself trying very hard not to go into a panic attack when he realized that he was no longer in his own time. He couldn't help wondering if Hermione had used the time turner as she had in their third year, only to remember she no longer had it. The other time turners had been smashed at the ministry of magic in their fifth year making the use of them impossible in the current situation. When Harry started to roam the halls to try and find anyone else from his own time he saw a mane of red hair and believed it to be Ginny. When he caught up to the young woman however and she turned when he called her name he was shocked to find himself staring into a pair of deep green eyes exactly like his own. He had not only traveled back in time but he was staring at his teenage mother! He also had encounters with Dumbledore, Snape, Sirius, James, and others he knew as adults. The whole time traveling experience has left Harry both excited to finally spend some time with his parents, and worried that he will never return to his own time.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

roleplay sample. Walking down Diagon Alley, the tall, lean, black-haired man in his early twenties walked slowly, deep in thought and remembrance. It was a chilly autumn afternoon. This time of year always reminded him of his first year at Hogwarts School of Wizardry, nearly ten years ago. The brisk fall air, the different smells that lingered there, and the sights that came along with autumn always warmed his heart and brought a smile to his face. Lately, though, he hadn't been in the mood to smile. Perhaps this trip to Diagon Alley, and in essence, Memory Lane, would change that. As least his memories wouldn't hurt him-at least memories of this particular place wouldn't hurt him, that is. Certain memories that swam in his head made him wish for death and the end to his existence.
Others eased the pain of the painful memories and gave him slight hope for his future. At least it was a future void of a certain dark lord. This Boy-Who-Lived, now the Man who lived to seek revenge, had vanquished his nemesis, but in the process, had created a world in which he was alone. Now he was truly alone. The young man watched as various wizards and witches walked here and there, carrying bags and bundles and books in their hands, hurrying off to wherever their lives called for them to be. The leaves upon the trees were already beginning to change color and fall. As the wind blew, a few of these lost leaves blew with it. The lean young man studied the way the street was slowly becoming empty, and the wizards and witches went into their respective stores and shops.
Memories flooded his mind-these memories brought him back to when he was younger with his friends, Ron and Hermione. He remembered their trips while they were in school, and how they were always so excited to leave the school grounds even for a few hours. The young man couldn't help but smile at the thought of the three of them sitting and talking in hushed voices, and sipping on butterbeer. A sudden gust of wind blew by, causing his thoughts to be forgotten for the time being and necessitating the young man to smooth out his hair to cover his lightning bolt scar on his forehead. He readjusted his circular glasses upon the bridge of his nose, and then continued his walk.
Passing another shop he had memories of, he smiled to himself as his mind raced back to that happy time-when he was a student at Hogwarts and shared enjoyable moments with his friends. He could almost see them picking out their books with him. Hermione would already have her nose in the thickest book she could find, while Ron would try to search for a used copy of a necessary book for one of his courses. Those times were gone now, he thought sadly.
Those times were of the best of my life. And they are now gone...He continued his walk silently. He walked for what felt like ages, until the afternoon sun melted away and the autumn moon popped up to greet the night dwellers. By the time he noticed the time, most of the shops on Diagon alley were closed for the evening, with the exception of The Three Broomsticks. He realized that he had been walking around in a continuous circle around Diagon Alley, passing the same shoppers four or five times, then turning back again and returning to his original spot. He looked up to where his feet had brought him. The entrance to Diagon alley, the Leaky Cauldron beyond the wall, where it had all begun for him, and now it was all over. There was no more evil, he had destroyed Lord Voldemort, he rebuilt his parent’s old house and lived in Godric’s Hollow where he was born, he lived alone with his memories.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
